Risk assessment is not just about identifying hazards found in the workplace and assessing the risks from those hazards and taking the appropriate actions to reduce the risk; it also calls for risk assessing the activities of employees on the road. There was a complete failure to assess the risks in getting from A-B for the driver of this vehicle; who incidentally had to abandon the vehicle. The company in question shall remain confidential so as to not cause any embarrassment – lets just say I won’t be ringing them!
